Betha Sarasin (1930–2016) was a Swiss artist known for her diverse oeuvre, including early computer-generated algorithmic works. SPIRALPROJEKT is a generative multimedia project that was developed and prototyped in 1983 in collaboration with musician Markus Ganz (*1961) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials in Freiburg, Germany.
